Installation Software Development for Microsoft Windows

The present study describes the development of installation software for the following software products developed by Intel: Intel® Inspector, Intel® Advisor, Intel® VTuneTM Amplifier. The project contains the structure description of a software distribution and also implementation details of the packaging system, designed to automate the building of software distributions. Microsoft Windows was chosen as a target platform, therefore the study also surveys installation technologies available on this OS.
