Theme "POLITICAL DISCOURSE IN THE SYMBOLIC SPACE OF NEW MEDIA: ANALYSIS OF THE ELECTION CAMPAIGN OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN 2018 Object of research: political discourse of modern Russia; subject: representation, glue ideologem in new media .. Objective: to identify how new media represent key ideology for the 2018 presidential election To achieve specific goals, the following tasks have been accomplished: the identified concepts of political discourse and new media, the linguistic and ideological analysis of discourse considered, the key concepts, methodology, methodology and methodology identified. Sources. In the first chapter, the main concepts, approaches to the study of problems, description of the analysis image are considered. The second chapter is devoted to the linguo-ideological analysis of the work of ideology in new media. In the final part of the underwater research, a conclusion is drawn on the topic under consideration. Practical value produced professional work represents the process of training and work in the field of media. The performed analysis reveals the peculiarities of ideological functioning in new media
