Problems of Social Inequality in the Context of Labor Conflicts in the Republic of Korea (1987-2016)

This paper is devoted to the problem of social inequality in the Republic of Korea (1987-2016). In the process of the research the author analyzed the most important reasons of social inequality problem in the context of labor relations. The thesis provides investigation on such relevant problems of labor-market inequality as: the income gap between regular and non-regular workers; problems of education level inequality and problems of gender inequality. The main aim of the work is to reveal how the distribution of income and social welfare affects the South Korean labor society and what are the state policy’s measures to reduce social inequality from 1987 to 2016.
