Food Security in Russia: Current State and Prospects

Food security is one of the key elements determining the quality of life of the population and the possibility of sustainable development of country. The level of food security depends on many indicators, including those determined by the individual characteristics of the region. These indicators and the very concept of food security are the subject of research by many different foreign and domestic scientists. However, despite widespread attention to food security issues, many aspects of this field remain controversial and require further study. In particular, the issue of food security and its characteristics in the conditions of modern Russia has not been sufficiently studied. This work examines the dynamics and current state of Russia's food security.
