Football is one of the most favorite sports all over the world since its origination. The beauty of the team performance and unpredictability of the outcome makes so many people become fans of this sport. To predict the outcome many bet on matches and this promotes circulation of millions of dollars in football bookmaking. To be more accurate in earning profits betting strategies are built on mathematical and statistical models which calculate the probabilities of each outcome based on the teams’ past performance data. In this paper attempt will be made to identify and evaluate the factors affecting the match outcomes which will make possible constructing a model calculating the probabilities of football match outcomes. To complete this task, matches of the European Premier League for 2015-2017 and the attack and defend parameters presented on the FIFA official website will be studied and evaluated through probit model. The expected result of this survey will be constructing a model to calculate the win or lose probabilities based on the identified factors.
