Improvement of Logistic Coordination in Customer Order Fulfillment Cycle

Tough competition, dynamically changing environment and transition from the power of the supplier to the power of the consumer in the supply chain force trading companies to improve the order fulfillment process with the aim of maximizing compliance with customer requirements. The purpose of the study is to form a set of measures and tools to improve cross-functional and interorganizational coordination within the order fulfillment business process. In the work there were emerged typical problems at the cross-functional and interorganizational levels of the order fulfillment process. Also, a set of mechanisms for improving logistic coordination and an algorithm for introducing mechanisms to improve logistics coordination were identified and applied in the alcohol trading company. The model of strategic profit was used to reveal the economic evaluation of the results of the work. This model showed a positive effect from the introduction of the proposed measures and mechanisms.
