Crafting Methodological Approach to the Implementation of Blockchain Technology at a Company

The relevance of the topic. Starting from 2016, the whole world is covered by blockchain fever. This trend has affected almost all social and economic spheres of human activity. In this paper, we will consider the cases of blockchain technology implementation in the activities of Russian companies, identify the main stop factors that prevent the implementation of blockchain projects and propose a method of blockchain technology implementation. The problem of research. The lack of a methodology for introducing blockchain technologies in companies and, as a consequence, high risks of implementing high-tech projects. Object of research: Russian and foreign financial companies. Subject of research: the Mechanism of blockchain technology implementation in the company. Purpose of research. To develop a methodical approach to the introduction of blockchain technologies in the company. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to solve the following research tasks: 1. Identify trends in the introduction of blockchain technologies in Russia and abroad; 2. To analyze the main stop factors that prevent the introduction of blockchain technologies; 3. Develop steps and sub-steps of the methodology for the implementation of blockchain technology; 4. To develop a system for assessing the level of readiness of the company for the introduction of blockchain technologies; 5. To test the developed method of blockchain technology implementation on the example of 3 Russian companies. The results were presented at scientific conferences: 1. International student scientific and practical conference «E-business. Internet project management. Innovations»; 2. International scientific conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists "Lomonosov-2018". Experts and jury of the conferences confirmed the relevance of the work and the need to develop a methodology for the introduction of blockchain technologies in companies.
