Year of Graduation: 2018

This work is a study in the field of calculation of simple parameters of electrical circuits, which in turn consist of elements such as resistors, inductors and capacitors. The work also involves the development of an application for the desktop system running Windows 7/8/10. In this area, there are many circuit simulators for the analysis and calculation of RLC circuits. However, such programs focus on the analysis of analog and pulse devices and require highly skilled users, making it difficult for students and schoolchildren who do not have sufficient knowledge to use the programs. The overall objective of this project is to develop a software module focused mainly on the calculation of simple parameters of electrical circuits containing active and passive elements. This study will focus not on qualified professionals in the field of circuit simulation, but on students and schoolchildren who want to start learning electronics and circuitry. The result of the study is an application that allows to make calculations of simple characteristics of electric RLC circuits containing an alternating sinusoidal current source. The resulting design can be used to calculate certain parameters of RLC-circuits of alternating current. During the work, an application was developed to allow users to calculate the characteristics of RLC-circuits of a certain type.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.

In the event that a thesis is quoted or otherwise used, reference to the author’s name and the source of quotation is required.
