Anonymous "Conversations between two Russian soldiers in 1743" is the unique source, that reflect the political views of the Russian nobleman in the middle of the 18th century. The source was written in the 1740s and it is represented by two different versions, the first one is known in 7 manuscripts, while the second is known in only one. I attempt to study the main ideas of the texts and inscribe them in the general socio-cultural context to reveal typical representations of the nobility about social reality.
