The Financial Influence of Creative Capital on the Value of Russian Banks

Student: Kurkova Kseniya

Educational Programme: Economics (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2018

Using design thinking methods, principal component analysis, and panel data regression we define components of creative capital in each of the observed banks. Results of the principal component analysis indicate the most important factors which precede creativity. They are not necessarily connected to psychological characteristics of employees, but to the architecture of decision-making and social context of a bank. Whereas financial modeling shows that the differences among banks are significant, yet creative capital is positively related to the capitalization of banks industrial-wise. New methods of assessing creativity retrospectively are suggested and used. Implications for management are discussed.
