The research is devoted to the perception of Russian history by the masters of Posil'skiy prikaz. The study examine the publishing activity of Posolskii prikaz and compare two “State Books” – the “Titulyarnik” and the “Kniga ob izbranii na tsarstvo … Mikhaila Fedorovicha”. It determines the perception of history and the political ideology of the creators of these manuscripts.
