The present research project involves processing and examining incoming Syslog messages and log file data generated by RSyslog software. During the study, the problems of collecting and analyzing information on IT infrastructure events, basic means of collecting information on IT infrastructure events, approaches to parsing system journal messages and the classification problem, architecture, structure and principles of the event identification system are described. In the course of the work, the incoming messages are parsed and the essence-components of the IT infrastructure and relations between them are identified, and the means for visual presentation of the classification results are provided. As a result of this study, it is expected to describe the development of a system for identifying IT infrastructure events that classifies messages based on the IT infrastructure model (ontology) and identifies new entities to refine the IT infrastructure model (ontology). The volume of this work is 54 pages including 10 pictures and 2 tables. The number of sources of literature used in the work is 34.
