The Problems of the Relations of Muslim Migrants with the Host Society (the Case of Germany)

This thesis is an analysis of the problematic aspects in the relationships between Muslim migrants and the host society of Germany. The first chapter is devoted to a general description of migration flows from Muslim countries to the FRG. The second chapter reveals the main obstacles to the successful integration of Muslim migrants in the FRG. The third chapter assesses the attitude of official authorities, political parties and the German media to the issue of Muslim immigration and assesses their impact on the relationships of the selected group of migrants with the host society.
