Educational Programme: Information Science and Computation Technology (Bachelor)

Final Grade: 8

Year of Graduation: 2018

Methods for converting angular shaft displacements into the code, methods for converting the phase shift of signals into code were analyzed in this final qualifying work. The modeling of the converter using logic elements and converter using a microcontroller were described step by step. The aim of the work is the development of a cyclic converter of phase-modulated output signals of the electromagnetic sensor of angular shaft movements into the code. The results of the work are: the model of the converter for the program MicroCAP, the prototype of the converter on the microcontroller, the program for the microcontroller and the report on the work. The analysis of the methods for converting and the description of the development of the converter will allow the creation of transducers intended for use in narrower areas in the future. Versatility and programmability of the developed converter opens wide opportunities for specialists, for further development and research. The final qualifying work contains 60 pages, 30 drawings, 5 tables, 36 used sources.
