Appeal in Civil Proceedings: Nature, Types and Features

This graduation qualification work is devoted to the analysis of the specifics of the revision of judicial decisions that did not enter into a legal force in the courts of general jurisdiction. The purpose of the work is to analyze the formation of the institute of appeal in Russia, analyze contemporary legislation, law enforcement practice and scientific doctrine, review and assess problems arising in the proceedings in the courts of the appellate instance of the Russian Federation. Based on the results of the study, there was revealed a number of problems that directly affected the appeal process in the Russian Federation and then ways to resolve each of the legal contradictions were suggested. It was proposed to change existing or add new legal norms that would ensure an effective implementation of guarantees for the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of individuals during the appellate proceedings .
