Key Characteristics of Child-Friendly Justice for Minors in Conflict with the Law

The study deals with the historical background of the idea about ​​special justice for minors and its embodiment in the concept of child-friendly justice. Based on the analysis of international legal acts and recommendations, key characteristics of child-friendly justice for minors in conflict with the law are singled out and summarized. The current situation of juvenile justice in the Russian Federation and the prospects for its improvement within the framework of the National Strategy for Children for 2012-2017 are discussed.
