Influence of the Project «Silk Road Economic Belt» on the Structure and Dynamics of Energy Import in China

In less than 50 years China has grown from a poor country to a global power, and to increase energy and trade cooperation in region Silk Road Economic Belt project was created. This issue was analyzed by many scholars, however none of them studied the potential effectiveness of this project and how it will affect China's energy security. The main purpose of our research is to perform a comprehensive study of Chinese energy policy in the frames of project «Silk Road Economic Belt», its internal factors and external aspects. We expect that our study will advance existing study on the issue of China's energy security and contribute to the study of prospects of Silk Road Economic Belt project.
