This work is devoted to the analysis of the development of international tourism and its role in the cultural and socio-economic development of Guizhou Province, which is one of the least economically developed provinces of the PRC at the turn of the 20th-21st centuries. The study aims to examine the trends and dynamics of the development of inbound tourism, the measures taken by the central government, as well as the administration of Guizhou Province to attract foreign tourists. This study analyzes the peculiarities and specific features of the province's attractions, transport and tourist infrastructure of the region, determines the problems and prospects of the international tourist industry of Guizhou.
