Simulation of Scientific Research in Various Funding Systems

Completed by a student of educational program "Informatics and computer technologies" of Moscow Institute of electronics and mathematics. A. N. Tikhonov of National Research University "Higher school of Economics" Dmitry Sergeevich Dluzhnevsky. The object of the development is a system that is able to simulate the scientific research in various funding systems. The aim of the work is to develop such a system and to use this system to conduct a set of experiments that will provide a solution of a scientific funds distribution problem. The results of the work are the following: 1. The sources of similar materials were studied; 2. The list of rules that the system should comply to was compiled; 3. The console version of the system was developed with Python language; 4. The graphical user interface that is the wrapper around the console version was created with Swift language; 5. The settings of the system were adjusted to match the real-life conditions; 6. The final experiment, that provided the main principles of scientific money distribution, was conducted. It is possible to continue the development of the created system to conduct experiments that would be more precise. This report consists of 47 pages, it includes 5 pictures, 1 table, 15 sources of information.
