The automotive industry is one of the most advanced industries in the world. At present, the world automotive industry is characterized by two tendencies: increased competition and the spread of the influence of globalization. In order to occupy a stable position in the machine-building industry, it is necessary to expand the sales markets for products. The paper considers prospects for expanding exports for the Russian auto industry in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union in the conditions establishing of free trade areas with third countries.
