Currency Regulation and Control in the Eurasian Economic Union

Agreed monetary policy is one of the top-priority steps to do for pursuing an objective of economic integration in the frames of the Eurasian Economic Union. Currency regulation and currency control are parts of monetary policy, and therefore shall be developed in the frames of the Eurasian Economic Union as well. Besides, Currency regulation and control are a powerful instrument, which may have influence on development of trade and economic interstate relations, so that they serve to achieve main objectives of the Eurasian Economic Union (including objective of creation of a common market for goods, services, capital and labour within the Union). The main aims of research were to ascertain the basics of the currency regulation and control in the frames of the Eurasian Economic Union, determine the problems and further ways of integration deepening in the sphere of the currency regulation and control in the Union. The author assigned tasks to analyze the theoretical and historical basis of the currency regulation and control in the Union, to find out regulatory framework, analyze the international experience of integration in the sphere at issue. Under the research made the author came to conclusion that there are a number of issues of currency regulation and control within the Eurasian Economic Union, and suggested ways of further development.
