Interaction of Shariah, Imperial Laws and Adats in the North Caucasus in the 19th Century

This issue analyzes the interaction of the elements of the three-tiered system of law (Sharia adat and imperial legislation) in the North Caucasus in the XIX century . In addition, the study examines the history of the formation and development of individual legal institutions in the North Caucasus and in the Russian Empire.
