Contract Law in Russia and China: Comparative Legal Analysis

The article is devoted to the comparison of contract law in Russia and China. The author has studied the basic moments in the sphere of contract law of the Russian Federation and the People Republic of China. The article demonstrates a comparative analysis of the countries’ contract law of, reviewed all types of contracts in two countries and highlighted the legislation in the spheres of sale and purchase and lease contract. The main goal of this comparison is to exclude white spots in national understanding of the Chinese law and distinguish similarities and difference in Russia and China contract law. The author of this article makes a conclusion that notwithstanding for some difference in definition and certain aspects of contracts the basic moments of the contract law of Russia and China are practically identical.
