Functional Requirements for Company’s XXX IS

The main focus of this graduate work is the company XXX. This work was initiated board due to the absence of the reliable, up-to-date and comprehensive data which in turn results in stalling the decision-making process and leads to considerable financial losses and ineffective time management. This work suggests solving these problems using the certain information system (further in text IS) the concept of which will depend on the functional and constructive requirements for this IS. The purpose of this work: to develop functional requirements for company's IS. The first chapter of the main part describes the initial survey of the company and presents the main problems. In the second chapter to develop the functional requirements this research will start with comprehensive analysis of the already existing management methods (SEBoK and SWEBOK) of the functional requirements. Then, there will be developed special criteria to identify the suitable method from the representative samples pool. Further on in the third chapter, business processes of the company will be described and examined for weak spots in order to develop the functional requirements for the IS in accordance with the chosen method. In conclusion, the results of the work are summed up.
