A development object in this study is health monitoring system based on heart rate variability data. Aim of this project is to create cheap available for a wide range of people system for domestic autonomous use, which automatically processes gathered data and makes conclusion based on it. This topic presents current interest because market share of E-health devices grows rapidly due to the fact that healthcare is important part of people’s live. As part of the study Arduino and heart rate monitor AD8232 based device which monitors heart rate of the patient and sends them to the computer for their further processing was developed. Furthermore software for filtering received signal, calculating heart rate variability parameters and their interpretation based on client’s age was developed. Purpose of created system is to give opportunity to its users to look after their health at home and if they notice some deviation, they could go to the hospital for professional treatment. This work contains 20 illustrations, 2 tables and 13 used sources.
