This paper is dedicated to the development of the recommendation system for parametric selection of books. The paper analyzes modern developments in the field of constructing recommendation systems, examines the available approaches to constructing algorithms for recommendations, identifies data sources and methods for collecting the book database for the work of recommendatory algorithms and suggests the most suitable method for creating a recommendation system that solves the problem of finding a suitable book on the user's request . As a result, we developed our own scoring model for ranking the list of books depending on the input parameters of the user, taking into account all possible combinations, and realize a program using the given algorithm. Also the advisory system collects the query statistics for each user and produces a result based on the history. Graduation qualification work consists of 44 pages with applications, 19 illustrations and 4 formulas. 12 sources of literature were used.
