Investment in Art By the Example of Cars

Today there are a lot of exotic types of investments, which, along with traditional ones, can bring necessary result. The market of art and creative masterpieces provides opportunities for financiers to diversify their assets, but mostly for paintings, wines or sculptures, but there is probably not obvious, but also quite attractive, market for rare cars. The essence of this work is to study this direction, as art, from the investment point of view, through the creation and construction a full-fledged price index of this industry and regression analysis of the influencing variables. In addition, was carried a comparative analysis with the American Dow-Jones Index to reflect the comparative characteristics of alternative investments in the market of vintage valuable cars, the dynamics of which have been positive for many years.
