Anticriminal Policy of Russia

At present anticriminal policy is of critical importance in terms of fighting criminality and ensuring national security, however, the efficiency of anticriminal governmental policies remains questionable. The general purpose of this research is to elucidate the main problems of combating crimes. In this paper work several major problems of explored sphere are represented, these are gaps and collisions in legislative acts, especially in the main act of criminal law, lack of sufficient doctrinal sources, tendencies of decriminalisation and depenalization and, occasionally, criminogenic character of domestic legislation. The investigation is based on a variety of methods, such as comparative and the analysis of the domestic anticriminal legislation. Furthermore, the paper focuses on modern tendencies in the sphere of combating crimes. Based on investigated data the author will attempt to offer several ways of improving domestic anticriminal policy. One of the most perspective decision is a creating of a unified Concept of policy of combating with crimes.
