Automation of the Fuel Payment Processes at Petrol Stations through a Mobile Application

The topic of the article is the optimization of fuel payment process at gas stations through the implementation of mobile application, which allows online payment for fuel. That fact minimizes stagnation at station cashboxes. To achieve this goal, a number of tasks were set, namely: the analysis of the subject area, the identification of the benefits of using such an application both for users and for gas stations, determination of general requirements for the system and, finally, basic application concept development. Chapter 1 covers following subjects: a rationale reason for the development of this application, FinTech definition, a short review of literature sources on topic "mobile payments", capacity, segmentation and market trends, business process analysis and decision analysis. At the end of the chapter some results of the subject area research are summarized. Chapter 2 contains the theoretical basis of the system requirements in accordance with the classification of requirements in the context of development life cycle and the requirements of FURPS, the requirements for the system module are determined. Chapter 3 includes analysis of architectural templates in order to choose the most appropriate one, description of the server methods of interaction with the RestAPI and, directly, the development of main components of the applications. The conclusion is devoted to the results and further work plans.
