The quality of software is its important characteristic. Nevertheless, in practice, code literacy and ease of support in the long run are often neglected in favor of the speed of development and implementation of the functionality. This phenomenon has been called "technical debt", by which one means a rejection of a more correct architecture of software for the sake of speed and ease of implementation. This paper presents the TD classification and considers the problem of technical debt evaluation and management. It proposes metrics for machine recognition of TD presence and classification of its severity degree. Proposed algorithm was tested on students of online programming school Devman.
