Logistic Modules in Enterprise Informational Systems: Comparative Analysis and Developing Trends

The purpose of this dissertation is to study and analyze structure and functionality of modern enterprise information systems and logistics modules included in them. The master thesis of this research is its comparative analysis of SAP and 1C logistic modules, as well as development of an algorithm to introduce automatic accounting of import duties. Based on the algorithm, a program is developed, which will help enterprises to reduce work effort and increase profits with certain sales growth. The results of this research are as follows: 1. The proposed solution allows to reduce loss of profits with probability of 0.11. 2. The developed algorithm for automatic accounting and calculation of importing costs helps not only to increase sales, as it considers some selling factors, but also to save time spent on looking for required rates of customs duties. 3. Work time savings after implementation amount about 27 standard 8-hour workdays. This solution can be used in both commercial businesses and government sector, optimizing operation of customs brokers.
