Analysis and Improvement of Processes in the Retail Sector by the Example of a Russian Company

The goal of this paper is to describe problems of the retail business in general, search for the most significant drawbacks of a given retail company and offer possible ways to improve such disadvantages. Then method of synthesis will be applied to distinguish a class of companies, which may possibly consider optimization solution useful to apply in a future development. Also, central contemporary trends in optimization and business modeling will be observed through analysis of known authors and editions.
