The purpose of this study is to identify determinants of the dividend policy of companies in the example of markets in several countries. The research uses econometric methods of data analysis, such as regression analysis and correlation analysis. As a sample, two companies-Lukoil and Boeing, which characterize the markets of Russia and the USA, were taken, respectively. The data was collected from the official sites of the company, as well as using the SPARK system and the TradingView service. In the course of the work, the available research on this topic, a comparison of US and Russian stock markets, and a review of the dividend policy of Boeing and Lukoil companies were analyzed. As a result, the following conclusions were obtained: for the US market, the value of net profit exerts an influence on the price, and for the Russian market the dividend policy as a whole is significant. Lukoil expects constant growth due to aggressive dividend policy, while Boeing's growth depends on financial activity.
