Strategic Development of the Companies of the Petrochemical Cluster in the Context of the Priority Directions of the Development of the Region

The practical aspects of cluster development of European countries and Russian Federation were observed in the work. The key direction of cluster politics in the field of motor and petrochemical industry provided by the regional agency of the Nizhny Novgorod region were analyzed. The key conditions, barriers and priority directions for the development of the region, as well as the strategic goals of the cluster members, were determined. The correspondence analysis of the region development ways and cluster parts was performed. As a method of collecting data for the study, the data synthesis of regional government official documents, scientific literature, review of public information from the websites of examined organizations were used as well as an expert interviews with the cluster members companies heads. The recommendations for the regional authority instance and cluster corporate members for the effective system development in the field of regional cluster politics of the Nizhny Novgorod region were proposed.
