The Influence of Various Factors on Russian Companies' Shares

This article explores the influence of various factors, such as price of oil brand Brent, currency USD/RUS, index S&P 500, on Russian companies’ shares. It is widely discussed, that establishing shares at stock exchange promotes company to attract investors to increase its profit and develop business and increase company’s value at the market. In recent decades, the tendency of development of the Russian stock exchange has recently started to be observed. For Russian companies it is considered to be a good start to develop investment strategy. Although there are some factors, which impact on shares in positive or negative way. The aim of the project is to estimate how certain factors impact on Russian companies’ stocks. Modeling linear regression determined significant indicators. Identifying them would help to build a beneficial strategy for company, investors and also for government.
