This master's thesis is devoted to identifying the configuration of intellectual resources of small and medium-sized enterprises and its impact on the activities of companies. To achieve this goal, the results of a survey of heads of 147 Russian small and medium-sized enterprises were analyzed. As a result of the study, the configuration of intellectual resources of small and medium-sized companies was revealed. Based on the conclusions obtained by the author, it can be argued that not all the components of intellectual resources have a direct positive impact on the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises. The study also found that human capital plays a mediating role in the configuration of intellectual resources, thereby confirming the findings of early research. The researchers dealing with the issue of intellectual resources may be interested with the results of this work, and may be useful to the practitioners dealing with the issue of intellectual capital on a daily basis.
