Economic Analysis of Negative Investment in Capital Health in Post-Soviet Russia on the Base of RLMS Data

In this paper, the term "health capital" is identified with the notion of "health level", and the definition of negative and positive investments in it is: "Those actions that improve health in this work are called positive investments. Others that have the opposite effect are negative investments. "The purpose of this work is to identify the causes of negative investments in health capital in modern Russia. A hypothesis was formulated that the reason for such investments is uncertainty. According to the results of the research, the hypothesis about the cause of negative investments is at least not rejected.
