Features of International Legal Protection of Industrial Designs
The relevance of the research topic is determined by the severity of the problem

There is no single mechanism for obtaining international legal protection

industrial designs.

The work consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, the author justifies the choice of the topic, its relevance, the degree of its scientific development, its goals and objectives.

In the first chapter, the author analyzes the formation and development of the legal protection of industrial designs; criteria that determine the protection of industrial designs are identified, specific features of the definition and evaluation of these criteria in different countries are considered.

 In the second chapter, the ratio of industrial designs to other industrial property objects is analyzed.

The third chapter is devoted to international treaties in the field of industrial design protection

The paper studies the specifics of defining and assessing the criteria for the protection of industrial designs in Russia, the EU and the USA.

Analyzes the features of the ratio of industrial designs to such industrial property objects as: inventions, utility models and trademarks.

The Hague system is investigated - the mechanism for filing an application for registration of an industrial design, which allows obtaining legal protection for design objects in several countries at once.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.
