The paper is concerned with the study of the staff organizational commitment phenomenon and establishing a correlation between the staff organizational commitment and the staff performance efficiency. The empirical study included diagnostics of the staff organizational commitment level and type carried out by interviewing and the study of the staff performance evaluation system of the company. We have analysed the factors which influence the staff organization commitment. The results of the regression analysis prove the correlation between the organizational commitment and the staff performance efficiency. It is found that the organizational commitment level is a statistically significant factor having a favourable influence on the median and average levels of the staff performance efficiency. The revealed correlation is found to depend on the organizational commitment type, employee age and their length of employment by the company. The emotional commitment definitely has a more significant influence on the staff performance efficiency than the current commitment. The influence of the commitment level on the performance efficiency is more evident for young employees. Based on the theoretical knowledge and the results obtained we suggest a model to manage the staff organizational commitment. We have developed practical recommendations aimed at reaching a high level of the organizational commitment.
