Lost Possible Selves: Content and Connection with Psychological Well-being

This project is intended to cover the major issues of Lost Possible Selves and its relationship with Psychological Well-being. The aims of the survey were to explore the phenomenon of Lost Possible Selves through the study of missed opportunities and non-embodied dangers and to examine the connection between the components of Lost Possible Selves and Psychological Well-being. Three methods to test Psychological Well-being and one method to test Lost Possible Selves were used in this study. The data was collected through online questionnaires. The data was encoded, correlation and regression analyzes, as well as qualitative data analysis were conducted. In general, our hypotheses have been partially confirmed - the connection of Lost Possible Selves and Psychological Well-Being was detected only between certain parameters. The impact of lost opportunities on Psychological Well-being was confirmed, but also only optional.
