Development of a Standard Information Security Toolset for Enterprise Automation Systems Based on SAP in the Railway Industry

Objective is to formulate a list of recommendations and tools for ensuring the protection of automatisation information systems (AIS) on the basis of SAP HANA in the railway industry. Problems solved in the course of work: • study of the information and organizational structure of the railway sector of the Russian Federation; • Identify features of information security in the railway industry of the Russian Federation; • consider the architecture of SAP HANA; • analyse existing recommendations on the use of built-in mechanisms of information protection in solutions based on SAP HANA; • consider selection criteria for a typical AIS; • consider the structure of the selected AIS; • consider the most relevant threats to information security of the selected AIS; • describe the model of the alleged infringer (external and internal); • offer a standard set of information protection tools for AIS based on SAP HANA in the railway industry of the Russian Federation. The choice of the field of research is caused by the absence in the existing regulations and models of threats to the information security of the railway industry of solutions devoted to the protection of AIS information, taking into account the specifics of SAP HANA.
