The Influence of Personal Qualities of Top Management on the Companies' Stock Return

This paper examines the impact of observed personal characteristics of CEOs on stock returns. The research is conducted on the data of the companies that have passed the listing procedure on the Moscow stock exchange. Proposed models allow to conclude, that because of the underestimation of the market, too young and old managers should expect higher abnormal stock returns. In addition, the same company as a previous place of work has a positive influence on abnormal returns.
