Mechanisms of Interdepartmental Interaction between Local Government and Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation

Research is devoted to the study of the interaction between local government and territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in municipalities. In this study, based on the current legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as on the scientific publications of well-known researchers of law, the author analyzes the theoretical aspect of the organization of interaction between the territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and local government in the sphere of ensuring the protection of public order. At the same time, the author also conducts his own qualitative field study of the actual forms of interaction between the divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and local government in the municipalities. Based on the study, the author offers his own recommendations on how to build an effective cooperation.
