Year of Graduation: 2018

Annotation The current development of electronic equipment is marked by an increase in their speed, which irreversibly leads to an increase in the sensitivity to interference from sources of interference of a different physical nature. Together with the speed there is also an expansion of the private range and power level in recent years, the operating frequency range has significantly expanded and the power levels of external electromagnetic fields have increased, which affects the growth of the amount of electromagnetic interference from different sources. The goal of the final qualification work is to improve the calculation method at an early stage of designing electromagnetic shielding screens of electronic equipment, as well as computer visualization of the screen design phase to improve the efficiency of design work. To achieve this goal, in the course of the following problems are formulated and solved: 1. The problem of electromagnetic compatibility of electronic equipment and electromagnetic shielding to ensure EMC is analyzed. 2. The analysis of existing methods used to calculate screening efficiency in designing and manufacturing protective electromagnetic shields is performed. 3. An operational method has been developed for calculating the shielding efficiency of a protective electromagnetic screen with holes of various shapes and sizes, possible for use at the design stage by screen designers. 4. An algorithm for the operational method for calculating the shielding efficiency of protective electromagnetic screens has been developed. 5. Software is developed for the operational method for calculating the shielding efficiency of protective electromagnetic screens. 6. The testing of the developed software for the creation of the procedure for the operational design of electromagnetic screens was performed

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.

Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.

In the event that a thesis is quoted or otherwise used, reference to the author’s name and the source of quotation is required.
