Social Networks as an Instrument of Political Communication in Russia

To date, social media have served as an effective channel for influencing political preferences and civic engagement. The use of SMM-technologies for the promotion of political parties and interaction in the political environment is becoming increasingly popular. Political parties, using Social Media Marketing, provide themselves with the formation of an effective image and mass support for the electorate.
