Supportive Institutions for Self-organization of Residents in Modern Russia

There is a need to explore various methods and ways of supporting local communities, in particular territorial public self-government, at the local, regional and federal levels of government. Recently, federal and departmental target programs, as well as state and regional programs, have been actively implemented in Russia. They determine the development of social policy in the long run and directly influence the work of residents who are civic in our society. Therefore, the satisfaction of emerging needs, emphasis and implementation of measures in accordance with the current demands of "local civil society", its development in general, as well as the term "territorial public self-government" determine the research interest of this dissertation work.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.
