Comparative Analysis of Business Models of Domestic Energy Companies

The graduate work on the topic " Comparative Analysis of Business Models of Domestic Energy Companies in Russia" contains 75 pages of text, drawings -10, tables -12, used sources - 70. The object of the study is the domestic energy companies in Russia by the example of Rosneft and Lukoil. The subject of the research is the company's business model, which allows the energy company to make a profit in conditions of market volatility. The purpose of the work is to identify the most effective business model of the domestic company in the oil and gas industry in Russia. The information base of the research is based on scientific articles published in publishing houses, scientific citation bases. The basis for quantitative and qualitative analysis of business models was the annual reports of companies, as well as accounting statements of companies and external independent audit reports. The paper analyzed the business models of oil and gas companies Rosneft and Lukoil based on the approach of Osterwalder, the production and financial performance of companies. A tool for assessing the performance of business models of oil and gas companies was also developed. During the analysis of business models, the most successful elements of business models were identified, and the rationale for the efficiency of using the business model by Lukoil compared with Rosneft was provided. The results obtained in this work will allow the managers of companies in the oil and gas sector to use ready-made models to assess the effectiveness of the current business model.
