The present research is devoted to Russian adaptation of Perceptions of Parents Scales (POPS) questionnaire for using in Family Systems Therapy practice and another researches of parent-child relationships. In compare with other questionnaires of parents’ perception of children, this methodology tool is unique. It’s focused on children’s perception and could provide us alternative view on parent-child relationships. We predicted that Russian version of the questionnaire would be valid on Russian sample and could be used for describing college-students’ perceptions of parents. To test this hypothesis we used method of forward translation, which includes translation and comparison of method by several psychologists independently of each other. To sum up, we suppose that Russian version of the questionnaire would be semantically equivalent and have adequate psychometric properties.
