Modern IT markets are characterized by a high degree of uncertainty, dramatically changing trends and demanding users. Despite this, large IT companies manage to be not only financially successful and competitive, but also to be leaders in capitalization. They manage to remain flexible to the changes and maximally satisfy users' demands by applying special approaches to software development based on Agile and Lean. Many Russian companies try to copy popular approaches in an attempt to follow the trend, but perceiving them as an instruction, rather than a set of values, which sometimes leads to frustration in approach and a return to traditional types of development. The algorithm of applying Agile and Lean principles and derivative frameworks will allow more effective application of advanced approaches to software development.
