Effect of Agile Project Management Applying

Nowadays agile project management methodologies are widely used in a variety of organizations and projects. However, the question of the feasibility of applying agile methodologies in the management of different types of projects remains open. This master dissertation is devoted to the study of the sustainable effect of the applying agile methodologies in project management, as well as methods of its evaluation. In this paper it is proved that for different types of projects the mechanisms of agile approach are not equally successful, and there are sustainable effects that make the agile methodologies appropriate in the management of the certain group of projects. To measure the effects of agile methodologies applying in organizations, a system of indicators, as well as a method for calculating the cumulative effect from agile methodologies using are proposed. The sustainable effect model is applied to solve the case in the Russian organization. As a result, recommendations for effective management decisions on the use of agile methodologies in the project activities of the company were made and a model for analyzing the success of the agile approach in various organization’s projects was identified.
